We are seeking an experienced and passionate A-Level Mathematics Teacher to join our Mathematics department. The successful candidate will deliver outstanding instruction in A-Level Mathematics to senior students, inspire mathematical thinking, and prepare students for Cambridge International examinations with proven success. Teaching & Learning:
Teach A-Level Mathematics (Pure Mathematics, Mechanics, and/or Statistics) to senior students
Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that make complex mathematical concepts accessible
Prepare students for Cambridge International A-Level Mathematics examinations
Foster analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical reasoning
Utilize innovative teaching strategies, technology, and real-world applications
Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and assessments
Support students aiming for top university offers in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, and related fields
Assessment & Examination Preparation:
Design formative and summative assessments aligned with Cambridge standards
Prepare students for A-Level examinations with proven track record of high grades (A*/A)
Conduct mock examinations and provide targeted intervention
Monitor and track student progress using data analysis
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance
Identify learning gaps and provide additional support as needed
Curriculum Development:
Develop comprehensive scheme of work and lesson plans
Create engaging teaching resources and materials
Integrate technology (graphing calculators, mathematical software, online platforms)
Stay current with Cambridge curriculum updates and best practices
Contribute to departmental curriculum review and enhancement
Promote cross-curricular connections with Sciences, Economics, and other subjects
Student Support & Enrichment:
Mentor students in university applications for Mathematics-related courses
Support students preparing for Mathematics competitions and Olympiads
Guide students with personal statements and interview preparation
Encourage participation in enrichment activities and mathematical societies
Provide additional support for students requiring extra help
Foster a growth mindset and resilience in challenging mathematical concepts
Professional Collaboration:
Participate in departmental meetings and collaborative planning
Work closely with colleagues to share best practices
Engage in professional development and training opportunities
Contribute to school improvement initiatives
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
Participate in school events, open days, and parent conferences
Essential:
Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field (required)
Valid teaching certification/license from home country (e.g., QTS, PGCE, State License)
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools
Proven experience teaching Cambridge International A-Level Mathematics
Strong knowledge of A-Level Mathematics curriculum (Pure, Mechanics, Statistics)
Track record of excellent student results in A-Level examinations
Excellent command of English (native or near-native proficiency)
Outstanding classroom management and organizational skills
Passion for Mathematics education and student achievement
Proficiency in educational technology and mathematical software
Preferred:
Experience teaching A-Level Further Mathematics
Experience as an A-Level examiner or marker
Familiarity with Asian educational context and Chinese culture
Experience with university counseling for STEM subjects
Knowledge of additional mathematics curricula (IB, AP)
Proficiency in programming or computational mathematics
Experience with differentiated instruction for diverse learners

Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 RMB/month (before tax), commensurate with qualifications and experience
